Having made the commitment to proceed with recovery, remember, it’s not an overnight thing.  It takes time, patience and every bit of you.

In your period of brokenness, you fell out of love with yourself.  As you progress with healing, putting yourself back together, hopefully you can once again become acquainted with the you that you can love again.

Along with overcoming the fear of relapsing, is the need to accept that the life you have been living is a mess and you are the only one who can change it.  

I often hear women describe themselves as being broken, even after they’ve begun to heal.  So we work on changing how they see themselves…as women who are healing, rediscovering and starting over.
