This is what we hope happens when you decide to work with us at Serendipity Counseling and Consulting, LLC. Those who come through our doors typical enter in a moment of crisis, convinced that they are “broken” beyond repair, unwanted or forgotten. When they leave, they do so with the knowledge, insight and inner strength to help them become the best versions of themselves. That is the happy surprise! Finding out that there is way more to you than you originally thought. Or reminding you that you are more than your current circumstance.
Serendipity Counseling and Consulting, LLC was founded by Attorney and Marriage and Family Therapist Shari N. Warner, JD, LMFT in 2016. This private mental health practice was developed out of the need to provide a space for women to address their mental, emotional and behavioral health needs.
Serendipity has since grown and our clientele has broadened to include females in all stages of life – adult women, couples, families, teens, adolescents and children. We focus on Helping You Become Your Best Self, by targeting the self-limiting and self-destructive beliefs that have kept you stuck in your lives and relationships. The work we do at Serendipity is life changing and the effort put in by those who want the change…absolutely worth it!

At Serendipity Counseling & Consulting, our story began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a safe, supportive space where women in Tamarac and throughout South Florida could begin their healing journey with confidence and compassion. We understand that life can be overwhelming, and seeking therapy can feel intimidating. That’s why we set out to build a practice that feels like an extension of home—welcoming, nonjudgmental, and grounded in empathy.
Our founder, a licensed therapist with a deep connection to the Broward County community, recognized a growing need for accessible and culturally responsive mental health care in the region. From day one, we’ve been committed to serving the diverse female individuals, couples, teens, and families that make South Florida so vibrant. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or life transitions, our team is here to walk alongside you with personalized, evidence-based support.
We offer in-person therapy in Tamarac, Florida, as well as online counseling throughout the state, making it easier than ever to access the care you deserve—on your schedule and in your comfort zone. Our clinicians come from various backgrounds and specialties, allowing us to provide a wide range of services that are inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in respect.
